Authority pardons the mule

Survived doing drugs;
A streetwise mentality
Vehemently followed thugs
I slept in jail, was this my destiny?

Tortured less than a dog in prison
Suffered treacherously, the wardens unjust treatment
Thank God t'was for a lesson and season
A relationship I had to cement

I once believed in faith and obedience
